Crossfit Elevation has changed me so much as an athlete both physically and mentally. Before joining the Elevation family, I had gotten used to a similar routine at the local gym and I was stuck in a mindset where I couldn’t push my boundaries and advance my fitness level. Now, after a year of Crossfit, the daily variation in workouts always challenges me in new ways. The coaches have helped push my limits and I have seen it pay off with so many personal bests and new achievements. Most importantly, I always know there is always room to grow and improve while being supported by the most supportive and welcoming Crossfit community! 



I've learned so much in the past 3 years at Elevation that I don't even know where to begin! The main 2 things that have impacted my life tremendously have been that it's ok to be strong as a woman and it's ok to eat every single time you're hungry. 

I came to Elevation with a very warped view of exercise and diet and was incredibly strict with myself, limiting calories and feeling guilty on the days I didn't work out. Being constantly surrounded by others who know when to take things seriously and when to back off helped me realize that Crossfit isn't just a way to get results, it's a way to have fun and if you're too serious about it, that's not going to happen. I'm eating more than I ever did before and actually losing fat in the process...who knew that was thing?!

In terms of strength, I always thought I would be one of the weaker ones in the gym, but over the past couple years, with the encouragement of the coaches at CFE, I've been able to continually grow stronger and surprise myself with what I can do. I don't think I ever would have tried as hard if it weren't for all the awesome people working out with me every day. 

I'm constantly surrounded by other athletes who challenge me to do my best even if my best that day is 20lbs lighter than normal. Can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us at Crossfit Elevation!
