Occupation? Health Coach
How long have you been training here? I just had my 1 year anniversary at the end of January.
How did you get started in CF? Joaquin convinced me I had to try it. He was right, it was love at first WOD.
Favorite workout? Annie
Least Favorite workout? Elizabeth (never done it but I can tell I would hate it)
Favorite movement? Rope Climbs or Double Unders
Least favorite movement? Thrusters or squat cleans.
Biggest accomplishment here? Placing 3rd in my division at the MBS turkey challenge
Hardest thing you have learned here? You're never going to be the best at everything (or even most things) and the list of things you need to improve on and work at never gets any shorter.
Favorite nutritional tip? Buy a crock pot.
Favorite healthy recipe or meal? Rub a whole chicken with whatever spices you fancy and toss it in the crockpot for 8 hours. Then, enjoy your fall of the bone dinner.
Most helpful recovery tip? After a particularly brutal workout try and take a cold shower. Its like the mellow version of an ice bath and helps with muscle soreness and fatigue the next day.
Advice for beginners? Record your WOD times and your weights religiously. There is no greater satisfaction that looking back through your journal and realizing your PR'd a workout using heavier weights than you used last time.
