Wow guys. What can we say... you are all amazing! You made 2014's Mile High Murph event such a success! We had a blast and it was great meeting new faces joining our strong community of athletes.

Murph went off without a hitch in three different heats, 1/2 Murph going first, then Team Murph, then full Murph. Many athletes improved on last year's time with special mention of "Schmidty" for cutting nearly 10 minutes off his time. Big thanks to Star and Tran for taking photos throughout the workout and afternoon!

After the workout we got turnt down for what and had a fantastic BBQ while Bossom screen printed a bunch of custom Mile High Murph tees with 50% of the proceeds donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation. We sold 38 shirts which amounts to $380 to donate!

Not only was this a celebration of Lt. Michael Murphy's sacrifice, it was also our community's chance to say goodbye to a few dear friends who are entering the next chapter of their lives. Coach Micro is moving to Houston to further her extensive education at Georgia Institute of Tech and Baylor College of Medicine, Brooke Parsons is moving to Dallas to become a high school chemistry teacher, and Becca Riopelle is moving to Brooklyn to further her education as well. We're incredibly sad seeing our friends leave, it's never easy, but we are supportive and very proud of their endeavors and they always have a home at Elevation. We love you all, and we will miss you. STAY IN TOUCH!

Thanks again to everyone for making this event so great. Stay tuned for some exciting new announcements regarding future events and a very special Olympic Weightlifting & Nutrition seminar presented by two nationally known fitness personalities coming in July!
